Blaine Art Show is a yearly event that is held to display and showcase the middle school student artwork. The event was on Wednesday, May 21, from 7-8:30pm. The guests will be delighted with the enchanting midnight garden art installation and student masterpieces.
The Blaine art show takes eight months to plan and put together. It is planned by Ms. Goulart, the art teacher. This year’s art show theme is a “Midnight Garden” where everything is oversized. Ms. Goulart said, “It is the first time Blaine has ever done a blacklight gallery”.
All the pieces in the art show are made in 4 classes made up of students from 6th, 7th, and 8th grades at Blaine. The art classes do many projects throughout the year, all of which are displayed at the show. Donations from guests go toward the materials that are used by students in art class.
The art show has now pasted, but it will not be forgotten. If you want to get involved in making the putting together the art show then be sure to sign up for Ms. Goulart’s art class. Ms. Goulart is an amazing art teacher and be sure to support the Blaine art program.
