Hi, I’m Cora and I’m one of the advertisement editors, and I’m also a seventh grader here at Blaine. Some facts about me are, I like to play soccer and I’ve been playing since I was 5. My favorite color is pink, light blue, and purple. My favorite music artist is currently Billie Eilish. I’ve recently gotten into her music, and I know most of her songs by heart. I chose to be in journalism because I enjoy writing and telling stories. It felt like a good fit for me unlike the class I had first semester. I feel like I am unique when it comes to journalism as I have my own style which is solely my own, along with how much I care about current events around our school. My favorite part of being at Blaine is the spirit and our community’s kindness for others.  When our school was going to shut down, there were so many people who made posters and signs to save our school, and others who went to rally for our school. Finally, I feel a good journalist is a person who makes sure that their news is pulled from credible sources and someone who gives you accurate information. Thanks for reading!
