Hi, my name is Keira, and I am a copy and political editor here at Catharine Blaine K-8. Outside of journalism, I play soccer with three teams and play school volleyball. As an 8th grader, I’ve grown up in the Blaine community and have learned to love the people here for their immediate empathy for others. As for journalism, I want to create articles that give clear, concise information that comes from all perspectives so everyone can take in all the information on the topic there is to know. Especially in the realm of political news, as I wish to write articles that let middle schoolers and others understand what is going on in the world. I believe a well-rounded journalist is someone who brings their community information that informs others with accurate information that everyone can understand.
