ALICE IN WONDERLAND DANCE
Recently we had the Alice in wonderland dance it was fun and vibrant, but some thought there could be adjustments. In this article you will see the opinions of leadership and the students.
I started by interviewing some 6th graders who went to the dance. Including Alexis, Beckett, Santino and Brie. I started with Brie.
Question 1, “What was your favorite part of the dance?”
Answer 1 “Probably dancing with my friends, the decorations were really good to.”
Question 2 “What do you think leadership could have improved on?”
Answer 2 “Maybe making sure everyone understands the themes.”
Next Alexis.
Question 1 “What was your favorite part of the dance?”
Answer 2 “ Hanging around with my friends.”
Question 2 “What do you think leadership could have worked on?”
Answer 2 “They could improve on coming up with themes that people know how to dress to, because it’s not just about the decorations it’s about trying to get kids to dress along with the theme.”
Leadership did an amazing job with the dance no doubt, from the decorations to the theme and these kids did say they did enjoy the dance, but even when I interviewed Beckett and Santino, they both agreed that maybe next year the theme could have more to do with summer.
The second thing was the music, we were extremely lucky to have 6th grader Josie and 8th grader Bennett’s uncle to come and DJ for our dance, he did a fantastic job, but many people agreed that it was better to have the students take a vote for the music just because it makes the music likeable from everybody. All dances this year were amazing! Leadership did an amazing job designing it, here are some of the best things from the dances that many want to keep!
1 The Photo Booth, it was a big hit, and many kids loved it!
2 The Confessions, who doesn’t love the food and drinks?
3 voting for music, making sure that people will be screaming and dancing!
There are many others, but these are the top 3 things that students really want to keep!
These dances this year were amazing and everybody is excited to see what leadership does next!
