Hi, my name is Sienna, and I’m a 7th grader and I’m so excited to be in journalism this year! I love being in journalism in Blaine because I love to write and interview people about all sorts of topics. I love getting to do journalism at Blaine because our school is so small I get to meet a bunch of different people I don’t usually talk to, especially kids in elementary. I’m a very creative person, I love to write its one of my favorite things, and now i get to interview people and write about it which I’m super excited about. A few facts about me is that I have a twin brother, two dads, I’ve been traveling out of the country since I was a baby, i was born outside of the country and I have lived in London when I was two. I’m also really interested in politics and world events so I’m defiantly going to interview people about that. I think to be a good journalist you have to search for the answers you don’t want. Its important to me that you get both sides of a story and you search for that answer. Overall I’m so excited to be in journalism this year and get to know everyone!
