My name is EJ; I’m a 6th grade staff writer who doesn’t complain when it comes to telling stories. (Especially my own stories!). One of my favorite parts of being a Blaine tiger is that everyone including me, doesn’t feel ashamed for who they are, for example when everyone is walking down the halls, they look proud and enjoying their very own personality that no one else has except for them. A unique fact I have about me is that my last name (Kochik) comes from Czech Republic. My last name is very important to me even though I haven’t gone or speak Czech, yet. Journalism has helped me express myself feeling free to tell any story I want. I want to write about running, since my dad loves running and was a track star in high school! (And owns a shoe store named Seven hills, which you should obviously visit). What I think makes a good journalist is a thoughtful, unique writer that expresses themselves to who they are. Not caring about what other people think or say.
Adi, Reporter
My name is Adi, and I am a 6th grade student who enjoys playing (and watching) most sports and enjoy hanging out with friends. One of my favorite parts of being a Blaine tiger is that were a k-8 so you can stay at your school for three more years and because of this we have the reading buddies so we can go back to your classrooms from when you were younger say hi to your teachers and do games and read with the younger students. A unique fact about me is that I am Romanian, and I only know that two other people at our school that are Romanian, and they are siblings. What I am most excited about for journalism is TNN because we get to go to different classrooms and interview people and I like that because its cool finding out what’s happening around the school and 8it seems cool to be like a reporter.
