The movie Wicked came out last year on November 22nd, 2024. The sequel Wicked: for good came out on November 21st, 2025. All Wicked fans were excited for this to happen. We will get some students opinions on the movie release.
First, I interviewed Neil about Wicked: For Good.
The first question I asked Neil was “are you excited for the sequel?”
His answer was “yes.”
The next question I asked him was “are you going to the theater to see Wicked: For Good?”
His answer was “yes.”
My next question was “who’s your favorite character and why?”
His answer was “the flying monkeys because they are cool.”
My last question was “did you like Wicked: For Good?”
His answer was “no because they kept singing nonstop. Almost everything that they said was in song.”
This was Niel’s opinion on the movie Wicked: For Good.
The next person I interviewed was Brit.
My first question for her was “are you excited for the sequel.?”
Her answer was “yes I’ve already seen it.”
The next question I asked her was “are you going to the movie theater to see Wicked: For Good?”
She said “Yes, I did”
The next question was, what is her favorite character from Wicked and why?
She said “Boq, I just do”
The next question was, did you like Wicked?
She said “Yeah, I did”
I watch Wicked: For Good too.
I was excited for Wicked: For Good to come out.
I went to the theater to see Wicked: For Good.
I like most of the characters but if I had to choose, I would say my favorite character is Elphaba. She is my favorite character because I think she was mistreated and her mission is really good. It’s important to keep the animals safe so they don’t die out.
I did like both Wicked movies. I liked the first Wicked movie more, but they were both good and they were interesting and fun to watch.
These were what middle schoolers at Blaine liked and disliked about Wicked and Wicked: For Good, and their favorite characters, and if they were excited about Wicked’s sequel.
