Everything+You+Need+to+Know+About+Blaine+Spring+Sports

Let’s talk spring sports. Blaine has just kicked off their seasons of girls’ volleyball, boys’ soccer and co-ed track. Last weekend they all had there first games/ meets which was very exciting and entertaining. Here is everything you need to know about these teams and the important information if you go watch in any upcoming weekends.

Girls’ volleyball-

Volleyball is a sport that involves many basic movement skills, particularly jumping and overhead swings of the arm, and it requires quick bursts of strength, balance, agility and hand-eye coordination. The goal of volleyball is to not allow the other team from getting the volleyball to hit the ground in your area while also attempting to put the volleyball down in theirs. There are 3 sets in volleyball in a first to 25 match but you must win by 2. The team that wins majority of the sets (2 out of the 3) wins the game.

Soccer-

Football, also known as soccer, is the #1 most popular sport in the world so it is obviously an exciting season for many people at Blaine. Soccer is a is a team sport played between two teams of 11 players each who primarily use their feet to move the soccer ball around a large rectangular field. The goal of soccer is to score into a large net box. Whoever scores the most wins the game.

Track-

There are many different versions of track and a lot of options on what you would like to run. The main idea of track is to run and be faster than your components.

I know everyone out there might not find sports as there thing so I hope these explanations of sports will help you and maybe you will be able to come to the next game/meet to support and show some tiger pride!
