Sometimes it is hard to find a new book after finishing your current book. I interviewed a few middle schoolers about what books they recommend.

The first person I interviewed was Caroline. She recommended The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas. The Hate U Give has a prequel called Concrete Rose. Caroline also recommends American royals by Katharine Mcgee because she liked to see what America could have become.

The second person I interviewed was Olivia. She had a similar answer to Caroline. Olivia recommended The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas. She also recommends One of Us is Lying by Karen M. McManus. She said it is a page-turner with many plot twists. She also said the characters in the book cannot trust each other which makes the murder mystery even more interesting. The last one she recommended was American Royals by Katharine McGee. The book is about what America would have been with royals. She said there are a lot of dramatic relationships and conflicts.

Willa recommended The Fault in Our Stars and Looking for Alaska, both by John Green. Sydney recommends The Adventures of Coyote Sunrise by Dan Gemeinhart and Blended by Sharon M. Draper. Elliot recommends Divergent by Veronica Roth, A Good Girls Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson, and The Fault in Our Stars by John Green.

Zoe recommends a lot of books including  Love in other words by Christina Lauren, Where the Crawdad Sings by Delia Owens, The Cruel Prince by Holly Black, The Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan, The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, One of us is Lying by Karen M. McManus, a Good Girls Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson. The Inheritance games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes. Zoe likes it because it has a cliff hanger at the end of every chapter, its humorous, and it is a mystery.

Even if you are a book worm or do not like the idea of reading, all these books are recommended by middle schoolers who love books. Be sure to check them out at the school or local libraries.
